Harry Brown
SAWMILL — Funeral services for Harry Nez Brown, 91, will be 11 a.m., today, June 3, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fort Defiance. Burial will be in Deer Springs. Visitation was at 10 a.m., today, June 3.
Brown was born March 15, 1920, in Sawmill, into the Tangled People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
Brown worked as a truck driver and logger, at the old Sawmil. He was a bronc rider. He enjoyed herding sheep, giving Navajo names to his grandchildren and attending traditional ceremonies.
Survivors include his brother, Robert Brown; one granddaughter.
Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Mary Brown; brothers, Thomas Brown, Newton Brown, Johnny Brown, Hoskie Brown.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Tallwood, Jethro Brown, Benjamin Moore, Nathaniel Charley, Danny Dalgai, Kenneth Davis.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Sawmill Chapter House, following services.

Kevin Lossiah
FARMINGTON — Funeral services for Kevin Miles Lossiah, 40, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 4, at World Harvest Center, 1204 N. Butler, Farmington. Ben Blackwell will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St., Farmington.
Lossiah died Sunday, May 29, 2011, in Farmington. He was born Aug. 2, 1970, in Gallup.
Survivors include his parents, John and Nora Lossiah of Pueblo Pintado; brothers, Kimmy R. Lossiah, Jason Lossiah, Lance Lossiah, John D. Lossiah, all of Pueblo Pintado.
Lossiah was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eleanor T. Tso.
The family will receive relatives and friends at The Oasis Church, 1601 N. Dustin, Farmington, following services.
Harold Matthews
MILAN — Rosary and funeral Mass for “Matt” Harold E. Matthews, 74, will be 9 a.m., Saturday, June 4, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will be in Grants Memorial Park.
Matthews died June 1, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born March 27, 1937, in Flint, Mich.
Matthews was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Foreign Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Matthews of Milan; children, Russell of Albuquerque, Dawn Scott of Roswell, Sherry Matthews of Albuquerque; stepchildren, Matthew Garcia, Christopher Garcia, both of Fort Myers, Fla.; three grandchildren.
Matthews was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Matthews.
Pallbearers will be Richard Jones, Aaron Dean, Dominic Moleres, Jason Irvin, Jim Taylor, Paul Johnson.

Virgil Tsosie
GALLUP — Funeral services for Virgil Richard Tsosie, 39, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 4, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.
Tsosie died June 1, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born Nov. 26, 1971, in Gallup, into the Edge Water People Clan.
Tsosie was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fixing cars, going to concerts, rodeos, watching sports and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife, Florinda Tsosie; son, Stephen Raymond Tsosie; daughters, Sharae Lynn Tsosie, Miranda Nancy Tsosie, Alyssa Hya Tsosie; parents, Nancy Tsosie, Linda Torgler; brothers, Gene J. Casuse II, JD Casuse; sisters, Lucinda Casuse, Celeste Bitsilly; grandmother, Mary Lee Tsosie; one grandchild.
Tsosie was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Tsosie; grandmother, Mary Lee Tsosie.
Pallbearers will be JD Casuse, Gene Casuse II, Raymond Keeman, Delton Dotson, Randy Lalacita, Edwin Lee Lalacita.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Bible Believer Baptist Church, 507 N. 5th, following services.
